On Wednesday, January 24th, there were approximately 150 supporters to help open her Mamaroneck campaign office which is located on Ward Avenue, across from the train station. Republican candidates are Westchester Prosecutor, Dan Schorr and attorney Sarmad Khojasteh. A primary to decide the Republican candidate is likely. In the meantime, Governor Andrew Cuomo has not set a date for a special election.

Coyotes in Mamaroneck —

Coyotes in Mamaroneck

On Monday, January 22nd, Mayor Tom Murphy held a meeting to discuss residents’ concerns about coyote sightings in our community. There could be several coyote dens in the area. Village officials as well as the Department of Environmental Conservation are recommending that residents keep garbage in sealed containers. Do not feed the coyotes or leave pets or pet food outside. If you see a coyote, make loud noises to scare it away, and contact your local police department.
